Ouija Boards

Ouija Boards, also known as spirit boards, have been a topic of fascination and fear for generations. Many people believe that these boards can be used to communicate with the dead, while others believe that they are dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. In this article, we will explore the dangers of ouija boards and why they should be approached with caution.

Firstly, it is important to understand how ouija boards work. Ouija boards are typically made of wood or plastic and have a flat surface with letters, numbers, and other symbols printed on them. Users place their hands on a small, heart-shaped piece of wood called a planchette and ask questions, expecting a response from a spiritual entity. The planchette is then moved across the board to spell out messages from the other side.

While ouija boards may seem harmless, they can be a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. Here are some of the dangers associated with using ouija boards:

  1. Inviting negative energy: Ouija boards are often used to communicate with spirits or entities from beyond the grave. While many people believe that these entities are harmless, there is always the risk of inviting negative energy into your space. Negative entities can cause a variety of problems, including nightmares, illness, and depression.
  2. Attracting malevolent spirits: While not all spirits are malevolent, there is always the risk of attracting entities that have malevolent intentions. These spirits can be dangerous and may cause harm to you or those around you. It is important to understand that not all spirits are benevolent and that you should approach the use of ouija boards with caution.
  3. Psychological effects: The use of ouija boards can have psychological effects on users, particularly those who are susceptible to suggestion or suggestion. These effects can include anxiety, paranoia, and even hallucinations. The use of ouija boards can be particularly harmful to children, who may not be able to distinguish between reality and fantasy.
  4. Opening portals: Many people believe that ouija boards can be used to open portals between the physical world and the spiritual world. While this may seem like an exciting prospect, it can be incredibly dangerous. Once a portal is opened, it can be difficult to close, and negative entities may enter the physical world.
  5. Addiction: Some people become addicted to using ouija boards, which can lead to obsessive behavior and a preoccupation with the spirit world. This addiction can be harmful to mental health and can cause users to lose touch with reality.

So, what can you do to protect yourself from the dangers of Ouija Boards? Here are some tips to keep in mind:

  1. Avoid using Ouija Boards altogether: The best way to protect yourself from the dangers of ouija boards is to avoid using them altogether. While they may seem like a fun and harmless game, they can be incredibly dangerous in the wrong hands.
  2. Protect your energy: If you do choose to use an ouija board, it is important to protect your energy field. You can do this by visualizing a protective barrier around yourself, wearing protective crystals, or saying a protection prayer before and after using the board.
  3. Set clear intentions: Before using an ouija board, it is important to set clear intentions for the session. This can help you focus your energy and avoid attracting negative entities.
  4. Use a trusted medium: If you feel like you must use an ouija board, it is important to use a trusted medium who is experienced in communicating with spirits. They can help you navigate the process safely and avoid any negative entities.
  5. Close the session: Once you are finished using the ouija board, it is important to close the session properly. This can be done by thanking the entities you communicated with and saying ‘Goodbye’. ALWAYS say “goodbye” at the end of a session. Make sure the planchette goes to goodbye as well. If you do not, it’s like setting a phone down without hanging up. The spirit or entity could linger on the other line. (If they do not want to say goodbye and try to keep communicating with you, refuse to let the planchette keep moving around the board except in the direction to the word goodbye. Keep repeating/demanding goodbye until they do.)
